Cable Inspection

The multitude of cables routing through a facility serves as a usable platform for opportunistic exploitation. From powering long-term installation of devices to routing audio from one area to another for interception, or intercepting network traffic by attaching network traffic sniffers.  No site can be declared as being "safe" or clear of interception devices until all cables are tested.

Network Cable Testing

Every cable is tested from the server stack to the termination point. We conduct testing on both standard CAT copper cables and Fiber Optic data lines. Utilizing various cable testing devices. We record 33 individual tests results per cable, testing down to individual strand level and consolidate all this data into a single cable map which can be used beyond security. A client is provided with a site cable map which serves as a base-line reference against which to compare future values, allowing for faster assessments in the future by focusing on exceptions.

Non-Network Cable Inspections

Electrical, Public Address System, Intrusion Detection Alarm, CCTV, telephone and all other cables are tested and its measurements carefully recorded as with network cables. Every cable is assessed to ensure that it is not powering a surveillance device, or is routing intercepted signals to remote recording points.
